AeroWound Amorphous Wound Hydrogel is a clear, gel-based dressing designed to support advanced moisture management for a wide range of wounds. The gel formulation spreads easily across irregular wound beds, filling shallow gaps and covering delicate tissue with a smooth, cushioning layer. This helps protect the area from external contaminants while maintaining a balanced level of moisture at the surface of the wound.

The hydrogel is formulated with ingredients such as CMC, propylene glycol, calcium chloride and water, creating a stable, amorphous matrix. Propylene glycol helps draw and hold moisture in drier wound environments, while the gel structure absorbs excess exudate. This dual action supports the body’s natural processes by keeping the wound from drying out or becoming overly wet.

AeroWound Hydrogel is intended to rehydrate devitalised or necrotic tissue and assist gentle autolytic debridement. By softening and loosening non-viable material and supporting the preservation of fragile granulation tissue, it helps create conditions that are favourable for new tissue formation. The clear nature of the gel also aids visual inspection of the wound surface when dressings are changed.
