AeroWound Silicone Wound Contact Dressing is a soft, transparent silicone mesh designed to sit gently against the skin while supporting the management of exuding and fragile wounds. The open mesh structure allows wound fluid and compatible gels to pass through into a suitable secondary dressing while maintaining a stable, protective contact layer over the wound bed. This helps protect delicate tissue while keeping the wound area visible for assessment.

The dressing uses a medical-grade silicone contact surface that adheres softly to dry surrounding skin while minimising adherence to the moist wound surface. This design helps reduce discomfort when the secondary dressing is changed and supports protection of newly formed tissue. The flexible construction conforms easily to body contours, making it suitable for use on areas such as the trunk, limbs and other curved or mobile sites where comfort and drape are important.
